Shipping and Delivery
Purpose: Explains respective-seller fulfilment for third-party products and Bazaraw fulfilment for products sold by Bazaraw.
1. Responsible seller
The product page or order record should identify the seller responsible for fulfilment. For a third-party product, the respective seller is solely responsible for securely packing, labelling, dispatching, tracking and delivering the order through a suitable courier or delivery service. Bazaraw provides the marketplace and order tools but does not initially operate a common warehouse or courier fleet for third-party products.
Where the product page identifies Bazaraw as the seller, the Bazaraw team is responsible for packing, dispatching, tracking and delivery and may use a third-party courier for fulfilment.
2. Dispatch and delivery estimates
A seller should dispatch an accepted order within 2 business days unless the product page clearly states a different made-to-order or processing period. Delivery is usually estimated at 3-7 business days after dispatch. These are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary because of origin, destination, serviceability, weather, public holidays, courier capacity, strikes, force majeure or buyer availability.
3. Shipping charges
For third-party products, the respective seller is operationally responsible for normal courier charges, return shipping, RTO, failed-delivery and other courier-related costs. Where a shipping fee is shown at checkout, Bazaraw may collect it from the buyer and allocate or settle it according to the order and approved payment-provider split configuration. Any courier cost above the buyer-paid shipping fee remains the respective seller's responsibility unless a different arrangement is clearly disclosed. For Bazaraw-sold products, Bazaraw bears the seller-side courier costs described in this Policy.
4. Address and delivery attempts
The buyer must provide a complete and serviceable delivery address and accurate phone number. The buyer should remain available for courier calls and delivery attempts. Address changes are not guaranteed after dispatch.
If delivery fails because the address is incorrect, the buyer is unreachable, the buyer refuses delivery without seller fault or another buyer-side issue occurs, the buyer may bear re-shipping, return or RTO charges as disclosed in the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.
5. Seller-side shipping failures
The seller bears applicable shipping, return or RTO costs where failure results from a wrong product, damage, poor packaging, incorrect dispatch, unavailable stock, false tracking, late dispatch or another seller-side issue. The buyer retains the remedies described in the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.
6. Tracking and delivery status
Sellers should provide valid courier and tracking information promptly after dispatch. Delivery status may depend on third-party courier updates and can be delayed or inaccurate. A marked-delivered dispute for a third-party product should be reported promptly to the respective seller, who must obtain and review delivery evidence from its courier. A marketplace grievance may be escalated to Bazaraw if the seller does not respond.
7. Lost, damaged or delayed shipments
For a materially delayed, lost or damaged third-party shipment, contact the respective seller with the order number and available evidence. The seller handles the courier investigation and any applicable replacement or refund. If the seller does not respond, the buyer may escalate a marketplace grievance to Bazaraw. For a Bazaraw-sold product, contact Bazaraw support and the Bazaraw team will handle the courier investigation and applicable remedy.
8. Platform-side errors
Bazaraw does not initially bear shipping, return, RTO or failed-delivery charges except where a charge is caused solely by a Bazaraw platform-side error or Bazaraw expressly agrees otherwise.
Cancellation
Purpose: Explains seller responsibility for third-party products, Bazaraw responsibility for Bazaraw-sold products, store- or product-specific return eligibility and refund treatment.
1. Which seller is responsible
The product page or order record should identify the seller for each product. For a third-party product, that seller handles and decides shipping, cancellation, return, replacement and product-refund requests and bears the responsibilities and costs assigned to the seller under this Policy. Bazaraw may transmit requests, maintain order records and facilitate the technical payment reversal through the payment provider after approval, but does not inspect returned third-party products or replace the seller's operational decision-making.
Where the product page identifies Bazaraw as the seller, the Bazaraw team handles and decides shipping, cancellation, return, replacement and refund requests for that product and bears the responsibilities assigned to a seller under this Policy.
2. Cancellation before dispatch
A buyer may request cancellation before dispatch through the seller's published support channel or the order-support feature, if available. For a third-party product, the respective seller verifies the dispatch status and approves or rejects the request under the applicable store or product terms. For a Bazaraw-sold product, the Bazaraw team makes that decision. If a buyer-requested cancellation is approved before dispatch, the buyer receives a refund of the product amount and any buyer-paid shipping fee. The INR 11 platform fee remains non-refundable because the order was placed and the platform service was used, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Bazaraw may execute the approved payment reversal through the configured payment provider.
3. After dispatch
Once the seller has dispatched the order, cancellation may no longer be available. The buyer may refuse delivery only where permitted by this Policy or request an eligible return after delivery. For a buyer-initiated cancellation after dispatch or a change-of-mind return, the INR 11 platform fee is non-refundable, and buyer-caused shipping or RTO charges may be deducted or recovered where they were clearly disclosed and applicable.
4. Seller cancellation or order failure
A third-party seller may cancel only for a valid fulfilment reason, including unavailable stock, damaged inventory, incorrect listing information, inability to ship or serviceability failure. If a third-party seller cancels, the buyer receives a refund of the product amount and any buyer-paid shipping fee, while the INR 11 platform fee remains non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. The seller bears the seller-attributable costs described in this Policy.
If a Bazaraw-sold product cannot be fulfilled because of Bazaraw's product, inventory, listing or fulfilment failure, or if payment succeeds but order creation or processing fails because of Bazaraw's platform or payment operations, the buyer receives a full refund of the amount paid, including the product amount, any buyer-paid shipping fee and the INR 11 platform fee.
Returns
5. Store- or product-specific return window
Bazaraw does not provide one marketplace-wide change-of-mind return period for every store or product. For a third-party product, the respective seller decides whether a change-of-mind return is offered and sets the applicable request window, eligibility rules and conditions. These details must be shown on the seller's store page or product details before purchase. A buyer must submit any request within the period shown for that product. If no change-of-mind return is offered, the listing should clearly say so.
For a Bazaraw-sold product, the Bazaraw team sets and displays the applicable return eligibility and request window on the product details. Submitting a request does not automatically approve it. The responsible seller may review product eligibility, delivery records and reasonable photographs, videos or other evidence. Lack of an unboxing video alone will not automatically defeat an otherwise valid statutory claim. Store or product restrictions do not remove remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded for defective, deficient, unsafe, counterfeit, wrong, missing or materially misdescribed products.
6. Return conditions
Where the applicable store or product details permit a discretionary change-of-mind return, the product should be unused, unwashed, unaltered and in resalable condition with original tags, packaging, invoice, manuals, warranty cards, accessories and free items, subject to the conditions disclosed for that product. The buyer must take reasonable care of the product while the return is reviewed. These conditions do not unfairly defeat a remedy for damage, defect, a wrong or missing item, material misdescription or another claim protected by applicable law.
For an approved product return, including a change-of-mind return or a third-party seller-side product failure, the INR 11platform fee remains non-refundable because the marketplace and payment-facilitation service has already been used. The same rule applies to an ordinary approved return of a Bazaraw-sold product. The platform fee is refunded only where the return is caused by a fault in a Bazaraw-sold product or Bazaraw's own platform or payment operations, or where applicable law requires a refund.
7. Non-returnable products
The respective seller's store page or product details must state whether change-of-mind returns are available. Subject to those published terms, a seller may designate the following products as non-returnable for change of mind unless they are damaged, defective, wrong or missing:
- Innerwear, intimate wear, socks and hygiene-sensitive products.
- Personal-care, beauty, grooming and opened or used consumable products.
- Food, beverages, perishables and products with expiry risk.
- Customized, personalized, made-to-order or clearly marked final-sale products.
- Products returned without original packaging, tags, invoice or accessories, unless the issue itself reasonably prevents this.
- Products damaged after delivery by buyer use, installation, alteration, mishandling or failure to follow instructions.
A seller cannot use a non-returnable label to avoid remedies required by law for defective, deficient, unsafe, counterfeit, wrongly described, wrongly delivered or missing products.
Refunds
8. Responsibility and return costs
For unavailable stock, wrong or damaged goods, poor packaging, incorrect dispatch, non-delivery or another third-party seller-side fulfilment failure, the seller funds the product refund and bears applicable return, replacement, RTO and non-refundable gateway or courier charges. The INR 11 platform fee remains with Bazaraw and is not refunded merely because the third-party seller caused the cancellation, return or product refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
For a buyer's change of mind, incorrect address, refusal without seller fault or other buyer-side cause, the buyer may bear return shipping, RTO or failed-delivery charges as clearly disclosed, and the INR 11 platform fee remains non-refundable. If the cancellation, return or refund results from a fault in a Bazaraw-sold product or Bazaraw's own inventory, listing, fulfilment, platform or payment operations, Bazaraw refunds the full amount paid by the buyer, including the product amount, any buyer-paid shipping fee and the INR 11 platform fee, and bears the applicable Bazaraw-attributable costs.
9. Inspection and refund method
An approved third-party return may be inspected by the respective seller after receipt. The respective seller may reject or reduce a discretionary change-of-mind refund if the product is materially used, incomplete or damaged after delivery, while preserving any non-waivable consumer remedy. The Bazaraw team performs this inspection and decision for Bazaraw-sold products.
Refunds are normally sent to the original payment method. After the responsible seller approves and funds a refund, Bazaraw may initiate the payment reversal through the payment provider within 5 business days after the required return or verification is completed. The payment provider, bank or payment method may then require additional processing time, commonly up to 5-10 working days depending on the method. Bazaraw may provide available payment-refund references on request, while the respective seller remains responsible for the underlying product refund.
10. Gateway fees and disputes
Allocation of non-refundable gateway fees between Bazaraw and a seller does not reduce a buyer refund that Bazaraw is legally or contractually required to pay, except for an expressly disclosed and lawful deduction. Chargebacks and payment disputes are reviewed using order records, seller evidence, delivery proof, buyer communication and payment-provider information.
11. How to request
For a third-party product, contact the respective seller through the contact details shown on the product page, store page or order record, or use the order-support feature if available. The seller handles and decides the request. If the seller does not respond, the buyer may escalate a marketplace grievance to support@bazaraw.com. Bazaraw may transmit information, request seller evidence, address platform-side issues and facilitate an approved provider payment reversal, but does not assume the seller's product or fulfilment responsibility merely by providing support coordination.
For a Bazaraw-sold product, contact support@bazaraw.com with the order number, reason, requested remedy and relevant evidence. The Bazaraw team handles and decides the request under this Policy.
