Privacy Policy

Status: Draft | Effective date: Pending owner approval

Purpose: Explains what personal data Bazaraw handles, why it is used, with whom it may be shared and how users can exercise privacy rights.

1. Who is responsible for your data

ANURAG A, trading as Bazaraw, is responsible for personal data collected and processed through the Bazaraw Platform. Bazaraw determines what information the Platform collects, why it is needed and how it is shared.

When a buyer places an order for a third-party seller's product, Bazaraw shares the minimum information reasonably required for that seller to fulfil the order, provide delivery support and handle authorized cancellations, returns, refunds or disputes. The respective seller is separately responsible for protecting and lawfully using the personal data it receives.

Sellers may use buyer information only for the relevant transaction, customer support, returns, disputes and applicable legal obligations. Sellers must not use buyer information for unrelated marketing, resale, profiling or unauthorized disclosure.

For products sold directly by Bazaraw, Bazaraw is responsible for the personal data used for fulfilment, shipping, cancellations, returns, refunds and after-sales support.

Privacy questions or requests may be sent to support@bazaraw.com or to the postal address listed in the Contact section below.

  • Communications and support data, such as emails, complaints, return evidence, delivery proof and dispute correspondence.
  • Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, security logs, cookies and interactions with Platform features.

The configured payment provider and participating banks or payment systems process payment credentials. Bazaraw does not intentionally collect or store complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, card PINs or banking passwords.

3. Why we use personal data

  • Provide support, respond to grievances and investigate complaints, fraud, misuse or security incidents.
  • Maintain transaction, accounting, tax, compliance and audit records.
  • Verify seller identity, PAN, Aadhaar proof, GST registration details and supporting documents, including through authorized service providers or official records where permitted.
  • Check that a GSTIN corresponds with the PAN provided for KYC and the seller's dispatch state, and determine whether the seller is eligible to accept intrastate or interstate orders.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, measure and improve the Platform, including through essential cookies and permitted analytics.
  • Send service messages and, where valid consent or another lawful basis exists, promotional communications with an opt-out.
  • Comply with law, regulatory requests, legal process and enforcement of Bazaraw's terms.

4. How data is shared

For a third-party seller order, Bazaraw may share with the respective seller only the buyer and order information reasonably needed to fulfil and support that transaction. This may include the buyer's name, delivery address, phone number, order items, delivery instructions, order status and information needed for an authorized cancellation, return, refund or dispute. The seller becomes separately responsible for the security and lawful use of the information it receives.

Bazaraw does not share complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, card PINs, banking passwords, OTPs or other payment credentials with sellers. Payment providers, participating banks and payment systems process payment credentials under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Bazaraw may also share the minimum information reasonably required with payment providers and financial institutions for payment and settlement, hosting and technology providers, email or OTP providers, analytics or security providers, courier or logistics participants where relevant, professional advisers, insurers, auditors, authorities and dispute-resolution bodies.

Where reasonably required for seller verification, Bazaraw may share the minimum necessary PAN, Aadhaar, GSTIN, KYC or supporting document information with authorized identity, tax or compliance service providers, professional advisers, auditors, payment or settlement providers, and government, tax or regulatory authorities where permitted or required by law.

Seller PAN details, Aadhaar details, bank-verification information, GST registration certificates and other KYC documents are not displayed publicly to buyers through the Platform.

Bazaraw does not sell personal data. If the business or Platform is reorganized, transferred or acquired, relevant data may be transferred subject to confidentiality, notice and applicable law.

5. Cookies and similar technology

Bazaraw may use essential cookies for login, security, checkout and preferences. Optional analytics or advertising cookies, if introduced, will be handled through any consent or choice mechanism required by law. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from working.

6. Retention

Bazaraw keeps personal data only as long as reasonably required for the stated purpose, an active account, order fulfilment, returns and disputes, fraud prevention, legal claims, accounting, tax, payment or regulatory obligations. Data may be deleted or anonymized when no longer required, subject to lawful retention duties.

Current and historical seller identity and tax-verification records, including submitted, rejected or expired KYC records, previous GST details, GST amendment requests and supporting documents, may be kept where reasonably required to maintain an audit trail, investigate misuse, meet tax or regulatory duties, resolve disputes or establish legal claims. These records may be deleted or anonymized when they are no longer required, subject to applicable retention duties.

7. Security

Bazaraw uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the size of the service. No online system is completely secure. Users should use strong credentials, protect OTPs and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and verification, users may request access to information about their personal data, correction or completion of inaccurate data, deletion where retention is no longer required, withdrawal of consent, opt-out from promotional messages and grievance redressal. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing and may not stop processing needed to complete a paid order or meet a legal duty.

Requests should be sent to support@bazaraw.com. Bazaraw may ask for reasonable verification and may retain information where required by law, for fraud prevention or for legal claims.

9. Children

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 or older. Bazaraw does not knowingly permit a child to create an independent buyer or seller account. If Bazaraw learns that a child's data was collected contrary to this policy, it will take reasonable steps consistent with applicable law.

10. Cross-border processing

Some service providers may process data from locations outside the user's state or outside India. Any cross-border processing will be subject to applicable Indian law and appropriate contractual or security measures.

11. Updates and contact

Bazaraw may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The current version and effective date will be published on the Platform. Material changes will be communicated where required.
